Slimming Snacks
When you're wearing a swimsuit or anything tight on the tummy, stick with light snackies that wont bring on bloatation-station. Some tummy-friendly ones include: raw almonds, watermelon and popsicles (no fudge bars or creamsicles allowed, girlies). Avoid artificially sweetened anything! Unless you want to be a human floatation device, this includes diet sodas that cause you to blow up like a balloon!!
Tight Tummy with "The Windmill"
This tummy tightener excercise comes from celeb fitness trainer Lacey Stone that works better than ordinary ole crunches!! Here's how: Lie on your back with your arms out to the sides in a T shape. Lifting legs, bend knees 90 degrees so shins are parallel to the floor. Keeping your back on the floor, slowly lower legs to the right, return to center, then lower to the left, tapping the ground on each side. That's one rep. Do three sets of 20 reps three times a week! You'll be sure to see results!
Sunbath with Deep Conditioner
It’s royal spoilage to your strands—heat helps the moisturizing ingredients deeoly penetrate. Rub a liberal amount of deep conditioner into your hair. Comb through from roots to tips, then pull into a bun. When you rinse at the end of the day, your hair will be super soft and healthy!!
Layer your Lipstick
Bold color at the beach or pool? Yes, puh-lease! Lipstick with SPF is a good way to protect your lips from the harmful summer rays!! To keep color from sliding off, apply, blot, repeat. Since rays can have a drying effect, choose a tube with softeners; for this shade, try Neutrogena MoistureShine Lipstick SPF 20 in Cherry Twist
Shave slooowly for Silky Skin
When you're doing your bikini line, avoid a racing razor!! Quick or rushed strokes cause razor burn and likewise ingrown hairs. How to solve the dilemn? Stroke in the direction of hair growth. This trick also works for the legs, especially if you're avoiding nicks at all costs! Want a good razor? Try Venus Spa Breeze System ($10, at drugstores), it's their newest razor with built-in shave gel that's gentle on skin.
