ALEXANDRA CASSANITI "debuted her eponymous line of bags, shoes, swimsuits, surfboards and other accessories in Spring 2008.

Pointing out that it's always summer somewhere, each season she releases a new "Summer" collection — she launched her line with the "Summer One" collection, and is now working on designing "Summer Four". Each season Cassaniti designs a new hand-screened print — from brushstrokes and pinkeye to stripes and newsprint — which she uses for each season's new line of limited edition bags. All of the Alexandra Cassaniti pieces are hand-crafted and made in the USA."

Hair Trends to Love

1. The Bob - boyishly short. pick a bang -side swept, choppy, blunt
2. Big Curls - roll curling iron from ends to roots (like hot rollers)
3. Mid Parts - centered in the middle with straight sleek hair
4. The Pony - low ponies are in (try wrapping the band with hair)

Beauty Makeup Tricks

1. Golden Shadow - shimmery is always better
2. Rocker - bold bright eye shadow 'played up' with metallics
3. Funky Polish - purples and golds. tip: shimmery polishes stay longer than matte finishes
4. Red Lips - overlay with gloss & 'play down' your eyes if you go red

Fashion Fabs

1. Boho Maxi - say what? yes, back from last year -long dresses in bold prints & colors
2. Jumpsuits - wide leg & solid colors
3. Frilly Blouse -bow necks, ruffles, silky fabrics (dress it up with black pants/skirt)
